About the SpeakerChandra Shekhar Mayanil, PhD, is an educator, author, and neuroscientist who served for over 15 years as Professor and Director of the Pediatric Neurosurgery Research Program at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, Chicago. An Eleanor Clarke Research Scholar in Developmental Neurobiology, his groundbreaking research focused on spinal cord and brain development.
