The Rhode Island Holistic Healing Association (RIHHA) was founded in 2004 by Susanne Dillon with a vision to create a collaborative space for holistic practitioners and wellness advocates across Rhode Island. What began as a small collective of like-minded healers has, under the passionate leadership of Vandana Pitke, evolved into a thriving and impactful nonprofit organization.

Since taking the helm, Vandana has revitalized and expanded RIHHA’s mission with a fresh, inclusive, and strategic approach. She reintroduced the beloved Holistic Health Expo, launched a dynamic series of educational webinars in addition to our in person meetings, and pioneered the annual Mental Health Conference, creating new platforms for learning, connection, and professional growth.

Her leadership has been instrumental in growing the RIHHA community to over 135 active members, introducing three tiered membership levels to better support diverse practitioner needs, and securing 501(c)(3) nonprofit status—a major milestone that has opened doors to greater outreach and funding opportunities.

Today, RIHHA stands as a beacon for holistic and integrative wellness in the region—nurturing collaboration, elevating holistic care, and fostering a stronger, more unified community of healers and wellness seekers.
