The death positivity movement challenges today’s medicalized and institutional approach to death and dying. Yet while this movement has initiated healthy change, Dani Doucette believes its scope is limited. In this webinar, Dani will share an appraisal of death-positivity using an astrological lens. We will consider the synodic cycles of the planets, especially Grandmother Moon, to amplify the wisdom that the death positivity movement has invited us to re-remember. This session will be exploratory, maybe even a bit unpredictable! Dani will share an overview of death positivity today, provide a brief primer on relevant astrological concepts, and present this alternative perspective on the ending phase of life inspired by the Balsamic Moon.
