After graduating with an AAS in Therapeutic Massage from CCRI, Louise studied Orthopedic Massage at Whitney Lowe's ORMERI Institute. She earned her BS in Athletic Training from Northeastern University and worked as a Certified Athletic Trainer in a university setting for 10 years before completing her MS in Health Communication from Boston University Metropolitan School. During her time as an ATC, she became a Structural Energetic Therapist, finding the modality effective for orthopedic and musculoskeletal recovery. She then left sports medicine to work full-time as a SET therapist at The BioMed Center in Providence, and in 2021 founded Orthohands Massage and Bodywork, LLC. She has also served on various boards, including the RIDOH Licensing Board for Athletic Trainers, the EATA Student Board, and as RI-AMTA Co-Sports Chair.
