Maria Sorensen, MA, LAADC, SAP, is a holistic and integrative psychotherapist and co-founder of Healing Arts in North Kingstown, RI. She holds a master’s degree in Holistic Counseling from Salve Regina University, integrating a body-mind-spirit approach in her work.

Specializing in trauma, Maria is certified in EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and clinical hypnotherapy. A Reiki Master trained in the Usui system, she blends energy work with psychotherapy. As a Licensed Chemical Dependency Professional since 1995, she also serves as a compassionate family interventionist.

Maria tailors her approach to each client, incorporating holistic self-care, expressive arts, Biomat Therapy, hypnosis, mindfulness, spirituality, and talk therapy.
